Join our Operations Computing Services (OCS) Team and help us achieve our goal of providing best-in-class technical IT capabilities. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving technical issues, supporting new system implementations, and ensuring seamless operations across all functions of the business.
Accountabilities:
In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for managing incidents with your high level of technical acumen, supporting service requests, changes, and enhancements, and providing consultation services for new projects. You'll play a key role in reducing breakdowns in manufacturing and supply chain operations, ensuring consistent service delivery across all sites, and minimizing risks from obsolete platforms. Your ability to absorb complex technical information and communicate effectively will be essential as you work with diverse teams globally.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical discipline with at least 5 years of IT experience working in an IT Technical support and delivery role
- Good working knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, as well as relevant systems and automation understanding.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Evidence of previous influencing, networking and team working skills
- Experience in laboratory instrumentation and manufacturing Automation systems would be beneficial
- Candidate must be able to operate in a time-critical environment
- Ability to work well in and across diverse regional and global teams
- Understanding of Basic network engineering principles. While not directly responsible for supporting the infrastructure, must have a good understanding of how systems and relevant components work together.
- Experience with continuous process improvement
- Working across multiple locations
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Awareness of Quality and Compliance principles, Good Manufacturing or Good Laboratory Principles (GMP, GLP) is desirable
